As a service oriented organization, we, the Cheyutha Team, celebrated this Deewali in our way by lighting hopes of the distressed flood victims. The after math of the recent floods is no less than a national calamity. Fortunately, humanitarian response was overwhelming. Cheyutha Team has also joined the relief movement to do our bit, on 18th Oct 2009.

Emphasis was laid on quality of service than the quantity. After considerable survey, a small hamlet, called CHEBOLU, in Kurnool Dist has been identified as the best suited place to execute the activity, keeping in mind the resources at hand. This village is inhabited by 75 houses and during the floods; it was totally submerged under flood waters.

One aspect Cheyutha stands unique is that it was among the few who have charted their donations according to the requirements of the people, than what they have for donation. The items are listed and sorted after consulting the local people and the president of the village.

The package given to each family is of worth 1000 and comprises the below items.

Wish you Happy new year

January 1st 2009 ! New Year ! How would be this new day different from other days and different from previous January 1st.. ?

Can we do something which can be useful to someone poor and needy ? ?

With this thought, Cheyutha Foundation organized a simple activity on January 1st 2009 for collecting old clothes and old textbooks, which can help some poor children.
For this we have selected some temples and churches in Hyderabad and distributed pamphlets to the people.

I thank each volunteer for participating and making this activity success. !

With a special thanks to YOGESH for planning and implementing this activity, I wish you all the prosperous new year and hope all your dreams come true.
